Who are we?

Welcome to ReFreez! We are a Brisbane-based business committed to bringing sustainability into everyday life. My name is Ryan, and I’m a mechanical engineer with a passion for creating practical, and eco-friendly solutions that make a real difference to everyday lives. My journey toward sustainability began at Lanikai, which is my my family’s farm in Northern NSW, where living in sustainably has always been a way of life.

Our Roots in Sustainability
On our family farm, sustainability isn’t just a practice—it’s a core value. Nestled in the heart of Northern NSW, Lanikai Camping Ground  hosts many guests in beautiful bell tents surrounded by nature’s serenity. As we expand our campground, we continue to focus on preserving the natural beauty of the land while sharing its wonders with our visitors.

Our farm also supplies sustainable firewood to Brisbane, using only fallen trees to ensure we give back to the environment without taking more than we should. This approach has allowed us to offer a renewable resource to the local community while preserving the delicate ecosystems that thrive on our farm.

A Story That Inspired Our Mission
At Lanikai Camping Ground, we always strive to enhance our guests’ comfort—especially in our beautiful bell tents, where we used to supply a fresh bag of ice for every visitor. However, it became clear that this single-use practice wasn’t just inconvenient and expensive—it was also unsustainable. Handing out plastic ice bags each day to every guest generated needless waste, clashing with our farm’s long-standing commitment to protecting the environment.

Why ReFreez Matters?
ReFreez was born from a desire to bring these same sustainable values to Brisbane.
